Joe Cajero Pendant Entitled Nurtured By Prayer
Joe Cajero Pendant Entitled Nurtured By Prayer
This special sterling silver pendant has the most meaningful title: it's called "Nurtured By Prayer" and it's by celebrated Jemez Pueblo artist Joe Cajero.
Joe Cajero is namely a sculptor. In fact, he received first place at Santa Fe Indian Market in bronze sculpture. He's created a special line of jewelry based on his bronze sculptures.Â
This pendant represents Sister Sunrise with the sun ray headpiece. A single star on her face displays the same symbolism from Joe Cajero's Sister Sunset.Â
This pendant celebrates the feminine, nurturing, prayerful qualities in each of us. How amazing to be able to wear the designs from a large bronze sculpture around our neck so close to our hearts.Â
Pendant measures 2 5/8" long from top of bail to bottom of pendant x 2 1/2" wide. It's signed on the reverse. The bail has a nice 1/2" opening width, so you can hang her from a wide variety of beads and chains.
The fabulous coral beaded necklace is sold separately. We also have an incredible pair of "Nurtured by Prayer" earrings.
