An all-silver Zuni knifewing pin is filled with personality. The vintage piece is by Horace Iule, who is credited with creating the first knifewing design in Zuni jewelry back in 1928! The seminal motif is bold and eye-catching. It's also a great "gateway" piece for those who think they're not attracted to Zuni jewelry because they don't like inlay.

This particular pin belonged to Martha Hopkins Struever, Santa Fe, New Mexico dealer, collector and scholar of American Indian art. It was the one Horace Iule piece in Marti's private collection.

The pin measures 1 7/8" wide x 1 3/4" long. If you're not a fan of pins, but you're impressed with the design, it can easily be converted to a super cool pendant. The piece is unsigned.
