Vintage Three Strand Kewa Pueblo Necklace of Pipestone and Turquoise

Have you ever thought of mixing your turquoise with the rich burnt umber color of pipestone? Most people don't, but it's a lovely combo. 

This vintage three strand necklace from Kewa Pueblo is made of earthy hued pipestone beads with a few turquoise accents. Since it measures 24 3/4" from end to end, it's a nice mid-chest length that looks great worn by itself, but it's just begging to be stacked with some beads of all turquoise. 

You can easily slip it over your head, but it also has silver cones and a hook and eye clasp if that's easier for you.

This organic pipestone necklace comes from a Chicago collector so in touch with experiencing the natural world that she swims in Lake Michigan every single day! Over the years, she's loved and enjoyed this necklace imbuing it with some of her own grace and gusto. In the necklace, you'll find a few unique marks of a life well-lived like one silver cone and two little beads a little less round.
