Vintage Navajo Turquoise Nugget Pendant

One of the most easily recognizable styles of Navajo jewelry is the classic silver and turquoise nugget design just like this great vintage pendant. 

The handmade Navajo silver pendant is a simple oval design that lets the eleven Kingman turquoise stones shine brightly. This is the kind of pendant that attracts attention and works with an array of styles be it rock and roll, artsy, chic or somewhere in between.   

It's large without being HUGE as it measures 3 1/2" from the top of the stamped silver bail to the bottom, and the width is 1 3/4". The bail itself is a hair over 1/4" so you can wear it with small Navajo pearls, a few strands of heishi, or a handmade Navajo silver chain. 

It's signed "Spencer" and "sterling" on the reverse, and there are a few different Navajo artists like Evelyn, Anna and Esther Spencer who made this style of Navajo nugget jewelry.
