Vintage Navajo Silver Twisted Wire Bracelet With Natural Turquoise
This one's a beauty! It's an old Navajo silver bracelet of elegantly twisted wire set with 3 natural turquoise oval stones that are very likely from the Blue Gem mine.
Notice the expertly crafted decorative silver wire scroll work beads and flares surrounding the turquoise. It's precise and elegant! This is exactly the type of traditional Navajo jewelry that artists like Perry Shorty work to replicate today.
This beauty originally came from good friend, Martha Struever, the renowned Native American art dealer, collector and scholar. Marti very generously gifted it to a loved one, and it has now made it's way to Turquoise & Tufa.
This joy in turquoise measures 5 1/2" inside with a 15/16" opening. Width is 11/16" and it's the perfect size to stack if you're so inclined. Please note that the bracelet is very round in shape, so if you have a flat wrist additional shaping might be needed for an additional fee.
