Vintage Navajo Necklace With Inlaid Deer Dancer
This vintage Navajo necklace grabs plenty attention with a large silver overlay pendant set with a deer dancer design in mosaic inlay of coral, jet, turquoise and mother of pearl.
The necklace is by Navajo jeweler Mary B. Smith, who worked for the Atkinson Trading Company.
The unique pendant measures 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" and hangs from silver beads that measure 26" from end to end. The beads are 3/8" in diameter. Pendant is hallmarked on the reverse with Mary B. Smith's hallmark and an AT for the Atkinson Trading Company.
This necklace comes from the estate of a major Native American jewelry collector.
