You've likely heard of Navajo jeweler Tommy Singer, probably for his sought-after chip inlay jewelry.
Juan T. Singer, the creator of these good looking earrings, is another Navajo jeweler who made well-done chip inlay jewelry.
These earrings, are obviously not chip inlay. Instead, they're a one-of-a-kind, modernist style with smooth and textured silver, overlay designs, parallel lines and lapis stones. When combined with the diamond shape, there's a refined simplicity here that you don't find often for the price.
The vintage earrings happen to look incredible when paired with simple shell or coral heishi necklaces.
They measure 1 1/4" x 1 1/4", and are signed JTS on the reverse. They've been converted to posts from clip ons and are from a Chicago collection of Native American jewelry with other pieces donated to the Chicago Art Institute.
