Vintage Navajo Bead Necklace of Graduated Disc Beads and Barrel Beads

This vintage Navajo silver bead necklace is unique in design. It was created with beads that slowly transition from small to large, yet as the beads graduate to a larger diameter, they actually become narrow discs or saucers of hand-stamped silver. Spaced along the single strand are four elongated and stamped barrel or cylinder beads too. Even they are slightly graduated in size.

The silver is lightweight and easy to wear. The beads are strung on a silver foxtail chain that allows them to rest gently on the skin. Even though it's a statement necklace, it's so comfortable, you may forget you have it on until someone mentions how much they love it.

Navajo beads measure 23 1/2" from end to end. Largest cylinder bead is 1 3/4" long and center disc bead has a 1" diameter. Unsigned
