Unusual and compelling are these vintage ironwood earrings handmade by Navajo great Allen Kee, cousin of Kenneth Begay. Kee (and his brothers Ivan and George) worked in a similar modernist style to Kenneth Begay at the White Hogan in Arizona, and his work has become quite collectible due to his memorable designs.
These rare earrings are handmade of ironwood ovals set in silver and appliqued with a silver fan motif. They measure 1 1/4" long x 3/4" wide and they have a depth of 1/8". Signed on the reverse with AK. They're for pierced ears.
