Here in the Southwest, we love our Mexican silver jewelry AND our Indigenous jewelry because we celebrate the cross cultural pollination that brought these magnificent and complex art forms to life.

These terrific dangle flower earrings are earlier Mexican silver made prior to the 1948 Mexican government required eagle marks. The earrings are made of weighty silver and set with sweet little yellow green calcite stones. They used to be screwbacks, but they've been converted to hang from fine handmade sterling silver wires.

They're stamped "Mexico Silver" which is an early mark on Mexican silver that was used from the 1920's to the 1940's. Interestingly, the mark often designates a purity above .925 sterling silver, so these vintage earrings are special!

Try them with your Navajo and Pueblo silver jewelry - you'll be surprised at how good they look with it!

They come from a collection of (surprise, surprise!) vintage Native American and Mexican silver jewelry.

Each earring dangles 1 7/8" long by a hair over 1" wide. They're for pierced ears.
