Vintage Mary Coriz 10 Strand Necklace of Melon Shell

It's so easy to fall in love with the multi-strand heishi necklaces that the late Kewa artist Mary Coriz used to make.

Often they were big and bold yet still subdued when created entirely in a single type of shell. The look is substantial yet elegant and totally wearable. 

This necklace is a full 10 strands of melon shell heishi in beautiful earth tones. It hangs 15 1/4"

Sadly, Mary Coriz passed away in 2021. While she lives on through her jewelry, she'll be missed.
