If you're an animal lover, this vintage bracelet will have your heart. It's truly something special.

The Indigenous-made bracelet dates circa 1960 and is hand-carved with all the animals that you'd find along the Northwest Coast including Alaska. Each animal has been lovingly carved and given its own personality. You'll find three different birds, a walrus, a seal, a porpoise, and two whales including one with the cutest smile you've ever seen.

These sweet beasts and birds each deserve a name! That naming process almost started here at Turquoise & Tufa, but then goodbye would be too hard.

Besides giggling at the cuteness, you just may find yourself running your fingers over each little carving, kind of like a worry stone.

Between each animal is a pair of bone spacer beads and everything is strung together on double elastics for stretch.

This darling animal bracelet is signed on the reverse by the artist, "D.U." and measures about 6 1/2" inside with some stretch to get over the hand. The bracelet is 2" at the widest and varies according to the size of each animal.

This vintage animal bracelet is from the collection of a woman who purchased fine Indigenous art from all over the Americas, not just the Southwest.
