The talented Kewa jeweler Harold Lovato only lived for 43 short years, but he blessed the world with his creative and expressive jewelry. He vividly brought to life designs carved into tufa stone through his beautiful tufa cast jewelry.
This dazzling vintage bracelet is one of Harold Lovato's silver tufa cast pieces. It's a wide and heavy cuff with beautiful flared and textured sides, but the star of this show is the bright blue hand cut turquoise inlay set in a head turning cobblestone mosaic arrangement. It's just so wonderful!
This turquoise treasure from Santo Domingo Pueblo measures 5 3/8" inside plus a 15/16" opening. The width is 1 1/4", and the cuff is signed on the reverse with Harold's hallmark and a stalk of corn because Harold Lovato was corn clan.
