Vintage Hand Painted Leather Belt With Sylized Yei Figures Santa Fe
Vintage Hand Painted Leather Belt With Sylized Yei Figures Santa Fe
What does a renowned Indigenous art dealer wear with all her fine Native American jewelry? If you were Martha Struever, you would have worn this bold leather belt and put together quite the amazing outfit.
The vintage hand-painted belt depicts three stylized yei figures along with stars and stripes in just three vibrant colors - red, black and white. It's such a cool, graphic piece.
The art belt does not appear to be Native American made. It's stamped on the inside "Genuine Leather ORIGINAL ARTWEAR Santa Fe" and it's also signed with a BZ.Â
It's a size Medium, and the strap measures 39 1/2" from end to end and 3/4" wide. The belt fits 32 1/2" - 36 1/2" waists. It's in excellent condition as Marti likely wore it only once or twice with the PERFECT ensemble.
