Jewelry from the Fred Harvey Era asks that you imagine yourself traveling to the the American Southwest. It's in the first part of the 20th Century. You might've traveled by train, and you've probably stopped at a restaurant, newsstand, train depot, or hotel owned by the Harvey Company. Inside, you found an array of tourist trinkets, gifts and jewelry to remind you of your incredible trip to the Southwest. Many of these tourist items were Native American inspired and some were actually Native American made.

Among all the goodies, you find this striking silver bracelet with a thunderbird, arms spread wide, stamped dead center with crossed arrows. When you turn the cuff around, you find imaginative stamp work like a sun face and dual parallel arrows. You know then that THIS is the memento for you! This will come back home with you, and you'll wear it to show others that you've traveled to the magical lands west of the Mississippi.

Tourist pieces like this early thunderbird bracelet were inexpensive, but now they're collectible for their enchanting styles and their place in Railroad/Native American/Southwestern history.

The bracelet measures 5 1/2" inside plus a 1 5/16" opening that can be gently opened or closed to fit you better. Width is 3/4"

Just think of all the decades this guy has seen!
