Vintage Frank Vacit Pin of Inlay Butterfly

Here's a VERY special vintage brooch by one of the old Zuni masters, Frank Vacit. The stunning brooch depicts an elegant butterfly, handmade of mosaic inlay in a beautiful, complex pattern.

There's inlay of No. 8 turquoise, jet, coral and shell. Highlighting the wings and antennae are silver beads and a repeating stamped pattern.

The butterfly pin measures 2 1/4" and is hallmarked on the reverse and signed with a trader's mark.
