Vintage Classic Navajo Turquoise Row Bracelet

Could this be the cuff you've been waiting for? It's a classic vintage turquoise Navajo row bracelet. It was meant to  appear in Turquoise & Tufa's 2023 annual Native American jewelry catalog, but there wasn't any more room. 

Instead, it's being offered here, and it's a beauty with everything a traditional 1940's Navajo bracelet should have - stamped carinated silver top and bottom with heavy twisted wire center upon which sit five oval natural turquoise stones. They're wonderful old stones in their plain silver bezels, a little bit cracked with soul, lots of soul. 

The piece comes from the collection of a lovely German woman, who learned about fine Native American jewelry from Martha Hopkins Struever's beloved art travel seminars. She purchased the bracelet back in April of 2001 from Martha Struever who owned it jointly with Robert Gallegos. How is that for some juicy provenance info!

The bracelet measures 5 1/2" inside plus a 1 1/8" opening. Width is 3/4". It's unsigned.
