Vintage Buckle of Rare Natural Green Turquoise

The turquoise in this vintage belt buckle is an absolute showstopper! All natural, the stunning rare turquoise is as gloriously green as can be.

The piece is so wonderful, in fact, that a story has developed surrounding its origin - supposedly, the buckle once belonged to a member of the Santa Fe family for which the old Garcia Street is named. I've done a little research, and I've been unable to actually verify this legend that has been passed down with the buckle. Fact or fiction, one thing is certain: the buckle with it's incredible turquoise is certainly worthy of legends.

Turquoise like this just isn't found anymore.

The handmade buckle measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and fits up to a 1 3/4" belt. It's from the unbelievable collection of a dear friend.
