Vintage Brass Bracelet of Turquoise By Tony Aguilar Sr.
Can you see yourself in this vintage beauty by Tony Aguilar Sr. of Santo Domingo Pueblo? It's just waiting to be a part of your story.
The turquoise and brass cuff tells its own unique story through shape and color. Different shapes of hand cut turquoise are set into simple bezels on three different square panels that sit atop the stamped shank. A study in geometry, there are triangles, rectangles, squares, circles and other shapes intentionally arranged on this cuff. The blue-green turquoise has a matrix with varying shades of brown that are just meant to be set in the rich brass metal.
It's safe to say, you won't ever find another just like it.
Tony Aguilar's bracelet measures 5 1/4" inside with a 1 1/4" opening. It has a 1 1/8" width. It's unsigned but was originally collected with a very similar (signed) Tony Aguilar ring.
