Tol-pi-yine Simbola Dragon Skin Silver Ring of Repousse
Tol-pi-yine Simbola Dragon Skin Silver Ring of Repousse
Tol-pi-yiné Simbola is a silversmith from Picuris, a New Mexico pueblo near Taos. We don't often hear of Picuris Pueblo in the Native American jewelry realm, but Tol-pi-yiné will certainly launch Picuris into the jewelry world with his fantastic contemporary jewelry.
This handmade ring of heavy sterling silver is inspired by the fantastical world of dragons! With it's raised repousse diamonds forming an overall diamond shape, the ring is supposed to represent dragon skin. The pointed edges are stamped and flared while the wide textured band has more repousse diamonds and stamp work. It's a detailed piece of silver that definitely makes an impression - a little bit Game of Thrones and a lot of rock n' roll!
This cool ring measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" and is an adjustable size 6-7. Hallmarked on the inside.
