Statement Necklace of Turquoise and Silver By Navajo Andy Cadman

If you're not shy about your turquoise jewelry commanding attention, you'll want to look at this impressive necklace by Navajo jeweler Andy Cadman. 

There are many parts to this handmade silver necklace, but most important is the bold oval pendant of natural turquoise that hangs front and center. It's set in a stamped and scalloped silver border that allows the large turquoise stone to do all the talking. 

A turquoise pendant this dramatic needs a superb necklace from which to hang, and Andy Cadman has given us this too. He's an expert in traditional Navajo jewelry, so his long necklace is is handmade of two different types of old-style Navajo buttons, big and small, linked together to form a chain. Each of the buttons is painstakingly handmade, and there are a lot of them. After the buttons, multiple heavy gauge silver infinity links form the rest of the necklace. 

All together this is a showy piece of Navajo jewelry that would make a statement on anyone.
