Silver Bracelet with Natural Turquoise and Horse Stamp by Greg Lewis & Dyaami Lewis
We're crazy about the work of father and son jewelers Greg Lewis and Dyaami Lewis. They're from Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico and excel in creating old-style Pueblo jewelry.
Upon first glance, this large silver bracelet set with a single natural turquoise stone looks like it could be an older piece with its oxidation and repousse work. Further study, though, reveals the coolest element of all - a stampede of stamped horses surrounding the turquoise stone. The horse stamp appears to be an updated version of the old and beloved Fred Harvey style horse or dog stamp. Bravo, Greg and Dyaami for creating such a unique piece!
The silver bracelet measures 5 5/8" inside with an opening of 1 1/4". Width is also 1 1/4". The piece is signed with Greg's arrow hallmark and Dyaami's "D" hallmark.
