Phil Pvo Earrings of Silver and 14kt Gold Corn and Pueblo Scene
Phil Pvo Earrings of Silver and 14kt Gold Corn and Pueblo Scene
We often think of Hopi made jewelry when we see complex overlay, however, this lovely pair of silver and gold overlay earrings is actually handmade by a jeweler from Kewa Pueblo or Santo Domingo.
These contemporary earrings are vintage pieces handmade by Phil Pvo. They depict a pueblo scene where corn is placed in a position of utmost prominence, running the length of each earring in gold. There's also a little gold sun accent as well as a tiny adobe home among the designs on each earring.Â
The silver and gold metals combined with the black background of the overlay pattern create a striking contrast.
Each earring measures 1 1/4" x 5/8" wide, so they're as easy to wear as they are pretty. Hooks for pierced ears. They also help you easily tie in that mixed metal look that's so of the moment.
Signed on the reverse by Phil Pvo.
