Pete Sanchez Ring of Boulder Ribbon Turquoise

It's easy to fall in love with the unusual look of boulder ribbon turquoise. Different from what we're used to seeing, it's an inverse pattern in which a tiny ribbon of turquoise runs through the host rock. It looks like a bright blue river flowing through an arid desert landscape. 

Pete Sanchez is a silversmith from Isleta Pueblo, and he's used a lovely stone of boulder ribbon turquoise in this otherwise simple setting. The one little river of blue that runs across this sweet ring will lovingly remind you that bright spots can always be found no matter how hard the rest may seem.

This handmade ring is a size 9 3/4 and the face is 3/4".  The band is nice and substantial silver, and it's hallmarked.
