Perry Shorty Earrings of Fine Easter Blue Natural Turquoise
These earrings by Navajo great Perry Shorty are kind of a sleeper pair. The complex silver wire filigree surrounding fine natural Easter Blue turquoise stones are pretty enough in their own right, but when you put these babies on, they are knock-your-socks-off beautiful. Tremendous. Fabulous. Exquisite. They're all the superlatives, but for some reason, with these that doesn't convert from the photos.
The earrings are part of the private, personal collection of Santa Fe dealer, collector and scholar Martha Hopkins Struever. That right there says something about this pair.
The face of the earrings measure 1 1/4" and they are signed by Perry Shorty on the reverse. The earrings are posts for pierced ears.
