Most of us are looking for distinctive jewelry that has just a little bit of edge. This super cool bolo, hand carved of an elk horn has got you covered. It's by Native jeweler Patty Fawn. While Patty Fawn is of Cherokee heritage, she was adopted by the
Kwakiutl Tribe, so her jewelry is inspired by the Northwest Coast. It's completely unusual and incredibly beautiful.
The centerpiece of this bolo is a leaping salmon with piercing abalone eyes and other abalone accents.
The elk horn keeper measures 2 5/8" x 2 1/4" wide and 3/8" thick. It's attached to a braided leather cord that's a complimentary cream color. 1 3/4" long silver tips complete the piece.
Signed "Patty Fawn" this wonderful bolo was created in 2004.
