This is a lovely contemporary style figural bracelet by Roderick Tenorio of Kewa or Santo Domingo Pueblo. The handmade 14k gold and sterling silver bracelet expertly combines metals, textures and depth. The textured gold portion of the cuff is slightly elevated above the smooth silver top section that's finished with a stepped pattern.

Captivating and meaningful stamped figures dance across the silver work, but the best detail is a single katsina figure hidden near the terminal of the bracelet. That katsina alone will melt your heart.

It's well-thought out details like these that have made Roderick Tenorio a multiple award-winning jeweler. His original work is elegant and wearable while celebrating Pueblo culture.

The bracelet is from a private collection and will be even more glorious with the swipe of a polishing cloth.

An important collecting tip: do not mistake the mass produced Carolyn Pollack Relios jewelry that was only designed by Roderick Tenorio for his authentic, handmade jewelry such as this bracelet.

Another collecting tip: occasionally, you may come across well-meaning Native American jewelry sellers who will emphatically insist that jewelry hallmarked with .925 rather than sterling silver is not Native American made. While it's certainly much more common to find Native jewelry stamped sterling, you will, indeed, occasionally find Native artist stamping with the .925 mark. This bracelet is a great example.

It measures 5 3/8" inside plus 1 1/4" opening. The width is 1 1/8" and the bracelet is signed.
