This bracelet is the epitome of classic 1970’s Navajo jewelry!

Exceptionally well done, this big and showy silver cuff is set with a natural Red Mountain turquoise stone that’s just killer. The early 1970’s bracelet was created by Walter Mitchell who unfortunately only made jewelry for a very short period of time - the late 1960’s until the mid 1970’s when he passed away.

Like many Native American artists, Walter Mitchell served in the United States Armed Forces before he honed his skill as a jeweler.

Since he created jewelry for less than a decade before his untimely death, not a lot of his work is out there, and this cuff is the best around! It comes from a private Colorado collection, and it’s available here for the first time.

If you’d like to adorn your wrist with this gorgeous example of classic 1970’s turquoise cuff, this one is it! It measures 5 1/4" inside plus a 1 3/8" opening. The width is 2 1/2" - yes, that's right, and the amazing natural turquoise stone is a hunk that measures 1 3/4" long. The inside of the bracelet is signed.
