Navajo Necklace of Turquoise Beads With Turquoise Pendant

Sometimes you just want something pretty that's not too fussy, fancy, or expensive. Perhaps you're traveling, doing something active, or looking for a gift.

That's where this Navajo necklace by Thomas Francisco comes in. The single strand necklace is strung with little turquoise rondelle beads and ornate silver accent beads. From its center hangs a lovely silver pendant set with a single turquoise stone and surrounded by traditional Navajo stamp and bead work.

The necklace measures 18" from end to end and the pendant is an additional 1 1/8". It's made so that a little bit of the silver chain with a turquoise bead accent will hang down from the clasped necklace. It's a nice detail. It's stamped sterling on the reverse of the pendant with Thomas Francisco's initials "TF".

So far it has been part of two dear collections of Native American jewelry. Most recently the collection of a dearest friend.
