Here is an excellent large Zuni rainbow man pin of fine inlay. The rainbow man pin is handmade of silver set with jet, white clam shell, turquoise and spondylus shell. It's done in a traditional style with silver beads surrounding the body. Notice the complexity of the inlay in every part of the rainbow man - from head to body. There are even silver silvers in the mosaic pattern.

It makes sense that this fine piece was part of the private collection of Native American art dealer Martha Hopkins Struever. This was her only rainbow man brooch. She called it her rainbow dancer! Perhaps it will dance into your heart like it did hers.

The pin dates circa 1945. It measures 3 3/4" tall x 1 3/4" wide. Unsigned.
