About the Piece: Jimmy Harrison Earrings of Moon and Star Inlay

These inlay earrings are among my very favorite designs by Navajo artist Jimmy Harrison. They're simple but eye-catching with their celestial inlay comprised of just a few colors and three different sizes of dots. The inlay dots of silver, turquoise and mother-of-pearl represent the moon and the stars set against a jet black night sky background. It's the kind of sky you can see clearly in New Mexico's dark nights.

They're so good that they'll speak to your soul, and you'll find yourself reaching for them again and again. You can get a closer look at them in this video.

The earrings measure 1" x 1" and they're signed on the reverse. They're omega clips so you can comfortably wear them whether or not you have pierced ears. 

There's also a matching bracelet and ring available.
