Isleta Navajo Jeweler Michael Kirk Bracelet of Silver And 14kt With Gemstone
Isleta Navajo Jeweler Michael Kirk Bracelet of Silver And 14kt With Gemstone
Isleta/Navajo Jeweler Michael Kirk is best known for his pretty feather jewelry designs, but we're pleased to present a different more contemporary piece by Kirk. It's a distinctive hand made narrow bracelet of textured and oxidized sterling silver with raised 14kt gold rivet and bar accents. The centerpiece of the narrow but heavy gauge cuff is a solitary raised green gemstone set in a gold bezel. We don't know the exact stone because the bracelet came to us as an estate piece. It could be a tourmaline or a garnet. Whatever it is, it's a beautifully cut, deep shade of green. Unusual for a Native American jewelry piece but oh so attractive.
This bracelet is perfect for those of you who would love to collect Native jewelry but just don't quite have the turquoise bug and are much more drawn to contemporary elegance.
