Historic Navajo Silver & Turquoise Letter Opener By Ike Wilson (Austin Wilson)
A handwrought silver Navajo letter opener by Ike Wilson (often attributed as Austin Wilson) is both highly collectible and usable. The narrow letter opener is set with a single natural turquoise stone. It measures 6 5/8" long x 1/2" wide.
It is hallmarked on the reverse and was part of the private collection of Native American art dealer, collector and scholar Martha Hopkins Struever. She had an important group of about 8 historic letter openers that she displayed on a fabulous antique desk
