Heavy Navajo Silver Cuff by Nora Tahe
This here is a piece of heavy metal courtesy of Navajo jeweler Nora Tahe. If you enjoy the heaviest Navajo silver bracelets, this one just might be for you.
The sterling silver cuff is hand-tooled with surprisingly deep stamp work. It's rare for a female silversmith to create in such heavy silver - it's hard work and takes strength.
The piece is decorated with a repeating sun burst design in brushed silver with an oxidized background to make it pop. What's a fairly simple pattern becomes bold with the weight and the depth.
The large Navajo cuff measures 6 1/8" inside with a 1 1/4" opening and a 1 1/4" width. Weight is an impressive 157 grams. How is that for a hunk of metal! It's one of the heaviest bracelets at T&T.
Hallmarked on the inside.
