Gail Bird and Yazzie Johnson are a pair of Native jewelers known for their elegant, contemporary art set with rare fine stones. Gail picks the stones and designs each piece of jewelry while Yazzie executes those designs with his master gold and silversmithing skills. 

This 18k gold pin is set with a carved and faceted quartz stone by Dieter Lorenz, a German pioneer in fine lapidary work. The quartz has a center drusy section that shimmers like fairy dust. The top of the pin is raw yellow smithsonite that glistens in the light.
