This impressive Gail Bird and Yazzie Johnson necklace is comprised of natural red Mediterranean coral beads, sixteen strands worth. Accent beads of 18k gold and onyx appear every so often.

The clasp is a work of art in itself with two carved onyx stones by Steve Walters set in 18k gold. Unlike most, it's a clasp that's meant to be seen, so you can wear the necklace with the clasp at the front side of the neck rather than the back. Even the reverse of the clasp is decorated in 18k gold overlay with stylized avian motifs. 

The necklace measures 20 3/4" long and is signed by Gail Bird and Yazzie Johnson.
