About the Piece:

Collectors of Native American jewelry are forever searching for pieces by the renowned early Navajo silversmith Fred Peshlakai. Here's one of Fred Peshlakai's sought-after bracelets with some nice provenance.

This desirable bracelet exhibits the outstanding silverwork for which Peshlakai was known, including sections of flared stamping and dots that emerge from either side of the single natural Lone Mountain stone.

The bracelet is unsigned as was common during the period it was made, but it comes with a letter of attribution from Steven Curtis, author of the 2014 book Fred Peshlakai: His Life and Art. The bracelet also appeared in a 2016 Albuquerque show of Peshlakai's work with the same name as the book.

This beauty measures 5 1/2" inside with a 1" gap and a 3/4" width.

Please take the time to watch this video where you'll see this Fred Peshlakai bracelet come to life. The turquoise color appears so much better on video than in the still photos.
