Exquisite Old Zuni Turquoise Dangle Earrings

It is very difficult today to find great old Zuni earrings. Collectors are on to their exquisite beauty and wearability and constantly on the lookout. 

This vintage pair of turquoise and silver Zuni dangle earrings is expertly made with a complex design of an articulated top turquoise cluster section and a bottom openwork triangular shaped section set with 16 tiny hand cut stones. In the center of the triangle dangles a single teeny turquoise stone suspended from a silver rod. From the bottom of the triangle, 5 hand made pieces of silver jingle jangle as they sway. The result is eye-catching movement that dances from the ears in every which way.

The little turquoise stones are natural, and they've become variegated over time in shades of blue and green. 

Even the handmade silver ear wire is finely done. It goes into a special handmade silver closure on the back of the earring.
