Dan Simplicio Brooch of Coral and Number 8 Turquoise

If you've been in the Native American jewelry collecting world for very long, you've heard of Zuni great Dan Simplicio best known for his striking jewelry combinations of coral and turquoise with silver leaf work.

This Dan Simplicio brooch is particularly dazzling with it's branch of fine natural red Mediterranean coral combined with natural #8 turquoise. The stones are just spectacular!

This collector's piece dates circa 1950 and is 1 3/4"long. It's unsigned but has an existing provenance as being Dan Simplicio's work.
