Here's a rare contemporary Navajo pendant of turquoise and silver by the late jewelry artist Laverne Goldtooth, mother of artist Adrian Standing-Elk Pinnecoose. It's incredibly difficult to find Laverne Goldtooth's jewelry, as she passed from this life much too early.

We're happy to have this piece of hers as it has such an unusual design to it. A play on geometric designs, a triangle of sterling silver circles dangles from a top stone setting. The large pendant has a shepherd's hook on the reverse so it can hang from a number of necklaces including those old Pueblo beads that need a fresh look.

The pendant measures 3 1/8" x 2" and is hallmarked with an L and Sterling on the reverse.
