Charles Lovato Dangle Earrings of Turquoise Heishi and Gold

These extremely rare earrings are by master artist Charles Lovato of Santo Domingo Pueblo. During his life, Charles Lovato wore many artistic hats very well. He was a well-respected painter, sculptor, poet and maker of fine heishi jewelry. For the true collector, these gold earrings have three turquoise dangle sections of the finest heishi that truly dance on the ears.

The pair was much-beloved by Santa Fe dealer, collector and scholar Martha Struever. She was so happy to own a pair of Charles Lovato earrings.

They dangle 2 5/8" from the top of the post to the bottom of the gold bead dangles. They're hallmarked with a "CL" and they are posts for pierced ears.
