Albert Lee Ring of Red Spiny Oyster Stone
Albert Lee Ring of Red Spiny Oyster Stone
This standout Navajo ring was created by the late Navajo jeweler Albert Lee who passed away in 2022. His too-early passing is heartbreaking for those of us who knew and loved him. Our only consolation is that he left a little bit of his heart in every single piece of jewelry he made.
This large oval ring is one of Albert Lee's creations. It's made of heavy, handworked silver and set with a single red spiny oyster stone. These red spondylus shells are becoming increasingly rare, so it's wonderful to have one set in a larger piece like this ring.
The ring just feels like one of Albert's classic Navajo pieces.
You can easily wear the ring without any other jewelry and still make a statement. It's that good!
The ring is a size 7, and the face measures almost a full 2" long! (It's 1 7/8" to be exact).Hallmarked.
