As collectors of Native American jewelry, we're always looking for the perfect silver chain or simple necklace from which to hang our pendants.

This sterling silver necklace is one of those essential pieces - it's just right when worn alone and it also highlights your contemporary Navajo, Pueblo and Hopi pendants just beautifully. The nicely weighted necklace is strung with small silver beads and larger silver spacer beads. It's a simple form with an easy weight.

The necklace comes from Christin Wolf, a favorite Southwestern jewelry shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico during the 1980's and 1990's. The shop was owned by Jerry McKenzie and the jewelry was designed and created in-house.

This vintage Christin Wolf necklace measures 23 1/2" from end to end and is slightly adjustable with a chain. It's finished with sterling silver cones and closes with a hook accented by a single Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone. Signed "Christin Wolf" with a silver tag.

In fact, yours truly has a similar Christin Wolf necklace gifted to me by a dear friend. I find myself returning to it again and again.

Turquoise and Tufa also has a Christin Wolf pendant (sold separately) to hang on this necklace or many Native American made ones including the fabulous dangle pendant handmade by Jolene Eustace as pictured (sold separately).
