Vintage Zuni Rainbow Man Ring

Whether you're at all familiar with Zuni inlay or not, this silver and inlay rainbow man ring draws you in. It's so funky! It's so cool! And the larger size draws you right in. If you wear this ring, and you're not in Native American jewelry collecting circles, we're almost certain you will receive a ton of compliments and questions.

The rainbow man with his multi-colored body and arched back in a shape somewhat reminiscent of a rainbow, is an important original figure in Zuni inlay. This vintage handmade ring is a fine example; its rainbow man is inlaid of jet, turquoise, spondylus and white shell. 

It is currently a size 5 1/4" ring, but it can easily be resized. The rainbow man figure measures a very noticeable 1 3/4" x 1".  It dates circa 1960. Unsigned.
