Vintage Zuni Earrings of Turquoise Hummingbird Inlay

These vintage Zuni earrings are absolute keepers. They're handmade of silver and turquoise in a channel inlay spiraling hummingbird pattern. Even though the size is a very comfy and wearable 3/4" diameter, the design is easily eye-catching. 

You can wear these with more than you realize. Try them with a coral and turquoise jacla necklace. Wear them with multi-strands of white claim shell heishi beads, or even go with a sterling silver geometric pendant. You'll find that the earrings enhance many different styles and outfits. 

These are unsigned but they're a play on Ellen Quandelacy's hummingbird design which is said to represent the rapid movement of hummingbird wings (which can flap between 50 and 80 times per second!) 

They are posts for pierced ears.
