The late Navajo jeweler Tommy Jackson was the definition of a master jeweler - from inlay to overlay and lapidary work, there was nothing he couldn't do. With so much technique under his belt, Tommy Jackson was unconfined by any one style although his jewelry certainly had a contemporary flair steeped in elements of traditional Navajo design.
These vintage earrings by Tommy Jackson are absolutely fabulous! Alluring natural turquoise stones likely from the Morenci mine emerge from the darkness of a shadowbox setting to shine bright. They're set off by large stamped sterling silver oval frames.Â
Wear these with your old coral strand necklaces or your contemporary Navajo pearls. They'll incorporate with just about anything and make it even better.Â
The earrings measure 1 5/8" x 1". They're posts for pierced ears and signed on the reverse.
