Vintage Thompson Piaso Pin Pendant Silver and Turquoise

About the Piece: This is a great classic hand-stamped Navajo silver and turquoise pin/pendant by Thompson Piaso.

The eye-dazzling round pendant is scalloped at the edges and hand-stamped with multiple rows of expert intricate stamp work. Can we take a moment to appreciate how hard it is to do this with such precision! There are at least six different stamps spaced perfectly to compose a fantastic design that's centered around a single round turquoise stone.

Wear this around your neck for one type of show stopper, but also pin it smack dab in the center of a bag, and you immediately have a one-of-a-kind custom purse. There are so many ways to wear this piece!

It was originally purchased in 1996 and has been in a private New York City collection ever since.

It measures 3 1/8" diameter and is signed with Thompson Piaso's "P" hallmark on the reverse.
