Vintage Navajo Turquoise Pendant

If you tend towards a more understated style, sometimes you just need a single pop of turquoise color. 

That's where this vintage handmade Navajo sterling silver and turquoise pendant comes in. 

At 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" it's the perfect size. It's not large and obtrusive, but it's also not so small that it gets lost around the neck. 

Notice, if you will, the unique, almost modernist silver setting. The turquoise stone is shadowbox set in a frame of silver. Then, around part of the stone is heavier gauge twisted silver wire that changes design at the bottom 1/4th of the pendant to become tiny silver beads or drops. It's such a cool accent!

Right now the turquoise pendant has years of great patina, but if you'd rather see it shiny, it can be polished right up.
