This is one of the best Hopi silver overlay belt buckles that I've had the pleasure of offering. It's by Robert Lomadapki from Hotevilla on Third Mesa and lived from 1942-2015. In 2008, Lomadapki was actually named an Arizona Living Treasure.

His buckle is absolutely striking! Perfectly symmetrical, the bold graphic design almost looks like a stylized butterfly. 

It measures 3" x 2" and fits up to a 1 3/4" belt strap. Signed on the reverse. It's from a prominent collection, much of which resides at The Art Institute of Chicago.
