Here in the Southwest, we're crazy for good vintage Mexican modernist silver jewelry from the masters like Hector Aguilar. These jewelry designs pair beautifully with our design aesthetic here.

This wonderful "six spheres" bracelet was designed and created by Hector Aguilar (1905-1985), one of the most sought-after Mexican silver masters. It dates circa 1940's and was made at the Taller Borda, a celebrated workshop and retail store located in Taxco Mexico.

The substantial link bracelet fits the wrist elegantly and commands attention with its glorious 1 3/4" wide design. It's truly a feat of design prowess when you notice how each of the links moves. It's also a collectible piece published in Penny Morrill's book Silver Masters of Mexico. You can find it on page 130.

You can find other designs of Hector Aguilar's in person at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in the permanent 20th Century Mexican Silver Collection.

Why resort to just looking in books and museums, though, when you can actually wear this heirloom piece on your own wrist.

Aguilar's "Six Sphere" bracelet measures 6 3/4" around, so it should fit wrists up to 6 1/2" If your wrist is smaller, though, it will fit you perfectly. It closes with a slide in clasp and there's also an attached safety chain.

Hallmarked and in wonderful condition. From a major Santa Fe collector of Native American and fine Mexican silver jewelry.
